Amy B. Summy EVP, Chief Marketing Officer and Consumer Business Lead Labcorp Amy Summy has served as EVP, Chief Marketing Officer and Consumer Business Lead at Labcorp since March 2020. A member of Labcorp’s Executive Committee, Amy is responsible for global marketing including brand and reputation, ecommerce, customer experience, commercialization, product management, insights and communications. She also leads the company’s consumer and digital businesses under the brands Labcorp OnDemand and Ovia Health, which offer health and wellness testing to consumers and AI-powered guidance for pregnancy and women’s health. She is a member of Labcorp’s Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and Venture Fund Steering Committees, and she serves as the Executive Sponsor for EnABLE (an Employee Resource Group for people with disabilities). Amy has received wide recognition for her leadership at Labcorp, including being named on the 2021 Forbes CMO Next list and receiving the 2023 Customer Obsession Award by Forrester Research.Prior to Labcorp, Amy was a partner with Ernst & Young (EY), where she led EY Digital’s Marketing and Insights Practice from 2018 to 2020. Working with C-level executives at Fortune 50 banks, asset managers and industrial manufacturing companies, Amy advised clients on improving marketing effectiveness and expanding their digital channels. She joined EY from TE Connectivity (NYSE:TEL), a $16B global manufacturer of connector and sensor technologies, where she was SVP and CMO, reporting to the CEO, and a member of TE’s Operating Committee. At TE, she led the transformation of the brand and customer facing functions, embedding digital capabilities and data in the marketing, product introduction, sales and service processes. While at TE, she launched the company’s ecommerce business line, expanding sales and market share with small- and mid-size customers in North America, Europe and China. Prior to TE, Amy held executive roles at global digital consultancy Sapient during the company’s growth from 300 employees to over 10,000 employees and $1B in revenue. During her 15-year tenure, she served as Senior Vice President and Managing Director and led the New York, West Coast and financial services businesses. Amy began her career at Dun & Bradstreet. Amy is a board observer of venture-backed NowDx and is a board director of the nonprofit No More Kids with Cancer. She also serves as a member of the Corporate Council of the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from Kent State University and a Master of Business Administration in finance and international business from the Stern School of Business at New York University.
